How my wife changed my mind forever!

Have you ever been so stuck in something that you feel like you’ll never escape? That was me many times through out my journey that I’m going through right now. I’ve been to the highest of highs with some of my ideas; and I’ve been to the lowest of lows with some of them but one of them really stuck with me. It all began one night after a hard day at work just a few weeks ago. I was going through some of my training and got to a point in it where none of my ideas made sense anymore. After a long breakdown and some emotional distress inside of my own head, I was finally ready to get back at it. When I was about to get back at it after arguing with myself throughout dinner with my wife, she came to me with something I never thought I would be on board with. One idea that she has been so passionate about even before I started this journey: making handmade soap. She has always been crafty and very artistic, but I just didn't know why or where she got the idea of making soap came from. Everything that she has done before has been either knitting or creating amazing pieces of art, so soap kinda took me by surprise. After some explaining and discussing of who to market it towards and how we would benefit from making soap, she had me hooked. It was all I could think about; what ingredients to use, who were we gonna sell it to, how to sell it and why would anybody want to buy soap from me. She then pointed at her pregnant belly and said “Soap for our child would be a big help down the road” and BOOM!! It struck me! That’s how we market it and that’s how we’ll sell it. We sat down at our desk and ordered everything we are going to need to make this soap for babies. Now as I sit here at my computer desk and type this blog waiting on these products to show up, I think to myself how would I have gotten here without her and our soon to be newborn baby girl. I wouldn't have if I didn't have her. I would still be stuck on what idea to use for my training and to be quite honest, I will leave you with this one thing… always be thankful for the people who believe in you and pick you up from getting knocked down by the toughest of tasks.
