Is God Dead because of the Internet?

Or maybe it’s the distractions that the 20th century offers; That embodies everything from money, media, relationships, work, hobbies and even television! Each one of these things can take time and attention away from things we individually need to focus on. Millennials are preoccupied with the ever-changing world around them, so much so, that they don’t have time for the church. They can’t commit fully to something if they are distracted.

But both of these have existed in times before our generation. Distractions and pressure put forth by parents aren’t any new ideas that could lead to such a drastic rethink of the Catholic church. What exists now that didn’t exist before, that impacted the way we comprehend spirituality? The internet.
