How to get started in web development?

What you need to learn to build websites

Almost everything is online nowadays. Be it buying goods, watching movies, keeping in touch with people, watching videos, etc. All of these require some sort of medium of interacting with the target audience and so websites come into play.

A well-maintained website can help you gain a competitive advantage in your industry and improve your business image. Developing your web site offers many benefits including helping you get more leads and prospects, increase sales, enhance your professional brand, and improve your customer service.

So, you can either hire a web developer and spend hundreds of dollars or you can make one on your own.

If you are just a beginner, you can start with the basic languages that helps in building the UI(User Interface) portion of your website.

These will be helpful if you want to built a static website. A static website is one which does not require dynamic or changing data.

If you want to create a website with dynamic data, then you will need a backend server as well as a database.

For creating a server, you can user Express.js which is a framework of Node.js. For storing data, you can use mongoDb database(It’s free!).

If you are done with all these languages, you can substitute the UI portion i.e. HTML, CSS, javascript with angular. Angular is a TypeScript-based open-source web application framework led by the Angular Team at Google and by a community of individuals and corporations.

You can search the web for tutorials on all the above-mentioned languages.

Hope you build your website soon!!!
