Petals Of Time
We start life filled with joy and happiness.
Being naive of the world, we don’t see its cruelty and hardships.
We then slowly become aware of the things we see.
These things can bring us joy and also misery.
Our breakups, our financial struggles, it breaks us.
Yet, from viewing the world outside us, we can see the beauty in nature.
The sun, trees, birds, all sing in harmony to gives us an uplifting joy that could not be compared elsewhere.
I called this piece the petals of time describing our struggles, and the beauty we experience.
As each day passes by, our petals fall. Yet we become more aware.
Until we reach the age where we find peace.
At this stage, we are not affected by what the media says, and not affected by what others tell us.
It’s at this phase we look back at our lives and remember all the people we helped and loved.
Till the whole flower collapses, we see the memories we have lived.
